If you know me it will be no secret that I LOVE Monki, most days if you ask me where I got my outfit, it will be from Monki. Which is why it feels fitting that my first proper post will be about Monki.
My first pick is this Mint Green Collared Sweatshirt, it gives me spring/summer vibes, and as a winter hating, sun worshiper I am going to hang on to every last moment of summer. Mint is one of my favourite colours, though this is also available in a gorgeous Periwinkle Blue.
Pick 2 is this Zip Front Shirt Dress, it could have been a few different things as I’ve mostly chosen this for the beautiful print and Monki being Monki there are quite a few garments available with this print, but the Zip front and modern shape won out for me this time.
For pick 3 I’m finally admitting to myself that autumn is on its way, and so I should probably pick something weather appropriate, starting with these classy tapered trousers. Pair these bad boys with a cute cream jumper and some Addidas Continental 80s and you’ve pretty much got my entire winter look from last year.
Pick 4 is this Classic double-breasted coat. The only part of the winter I find enjoyable is buying a new winter coat, which is probably why my bedroom door is creaking under the weight of all of them. I firmly believe that if a coat doesn’t cover your bottom then its not doing its job, going by its length, this coat is working overtime!
Pick 5 is this stunning emerald green satin skirt. Before 2019 I refused to wear any skirt that came below my knee as I thought it would make me look dumpy, but with the rise of the midi skirt this year I finally took the plunge and found that I absolutely loved this style. Emerald green is one of my favourite colours and will look great this autumn.
Pick 6 throws me back to being in university and fancying a tutor who used to wear these bad boys daily. I being a fan of a knit vest found him adorable, and when I saw this on the Monki website knew I had to add it to my September picks!
My Final Pick is this corduroy jumpsuit. Utility style jumpsuits are dropping like its hot right now, so it would be rude not to include one. I love a jumpsuit though I wish they were slightly easier to pee in!
